MY RESPONSIBILITIES:
AS QA tester
QA work can vary a lot day to day depending on what phase of development we are in, however,
a typical day usually includes these duties:
• Daily playtesting and smoke testing of builds on PC / XBOX1/PS4, with and without debug tools.
• Reporting bugs and issues and assigning them to the correct department and individual via our internal bug tracking database (Jira).
• Reproducing and investigating bugs.
• Accumulating information and reference material via screenshots, videos, dumps, and logs.
• Reading through forums, community reports, and player feedback.
• Regular communication with team members in task forces, meetings


SIDE MISSIONS
Localization testing Overview
*Test each project assigned to identify localization and functional bugs
*Review language components(e.g Text and audio files)before integration
*Identify and document defects in a clear and concise manner
*Using the designated bug tracking database
*Complete regression/verification testing daily and other duties assigned as required
